I have to say that this is one of the most impressive photo editing tools for the Mac that I’ve come across. Seriously good job with the coding. I have one feature request - A Photo extension with all the capabilities of the standalone app - I would pay for this. What’s also incredibly impressive is the gradient filters - well done! And if you buy their iOS app (well worth it) they have the gradient tool there as well. I’ve been searching for this single capability for a long time. The number of times all you want to do is darken the sky a little as it’s over exposed and there’s nothing out there on iOS that will do it. Well now there is. Well done! Exceptional programming. Well that didn’t take long - just installed the update with the Photo’s extension and it’s perfect. Click, edit, save and you’re done. Again - incredibly impressive - thank you!.

Very powerful app, much better than Photos for mac, good potential, make lot out of your raw images, extremely fast response, lot of choices and tweaks available to make best out of your snaps!! Initially gave 4/5 but with photo extension its worth every penny!!

Update: Kudos to Polarr Incorporated !!! The extension for photos makes this app phenomenal because you throw iCloud into the mix . Just can’t give this app enough praise . I recommend this app as it’s easy to use and compact . I also like that you can create your own filters and save them for future use . I have been editing some of my old photos and this app blows away any other editor for the price you pay .

A fantastic update! I like this app for its promising effect on prefecting my photos. I learned a lot from it tutoring and I really hope it has more. Recommend to you all.

I like how smoth the program feels. It is very intuitive and easy to use. However, if you expect to do something serious with this, you will be very disappointed. The program is inadequte editing big raw files, and cannot resize the photos properly. If you already have a aperture, please stick to it. The preset is mediocore at best, and I do not recomened this program for anything other than phone photo editing.

its just a black screen, can’t do anything…….. why have this app in store??????

I purchased this app specifically because it was the only editor I could find with a Photos extension that had a Curves tool for color correction. Combined with the edit history and before/after features, I can say Polarr makes Apple’s Photo app a worthy successor to Aperture. Very impressed!

I really,really enjoyed this app!! Now my pictures will get more and more professional with this app!!! I think this interface is very easy to use, my felling is Pro app with interface for amateurs!!! My Congratulations to developers.

Excellent photo editor with multiple controls and presets to apply to the photos. It has the Dehaze/Clear view control that Lightroom/Photoshop/DxoOptics have. Perfect for the casual photo editing job. However the Crop Tool needs some work as the crop overlay is off center to the left and what you select is not always what the program crops. Otherwise a great program.

After using lite version I decided to buy the full version because this app is worth it. Its really powerful photo editor app I’ve ever used. There are a lot of various photo filters, different kinds of adjustments and other cool features. The app has simple and easy to use interface. You can easily create stunning and gorgeous pictures just in a few touches.

Edited several photos and exported them as jpegs to my desktop. The images are completely black. emailed customer support online and got nothing back. Too bad, because as an editing tool, the software is easy to use, versatile, clear, intuitive, and the PREVIOUS version produced actual images.

The iOS version of Polarr is already my go-to app on iPad, however I expect more of the Mac version. If later versions allow the use of brushes for selective editing, this app truly has the potential to compete with professional softwares like Lightroom. The program still crashes sometimes, and applying changes to RAW files can be slow. Considering the striking 6MB app size (which is smaller than any of my RAW photos), I’d say that I would rather download a 60MB or even 600MB app that runs fast on my mac if the tradeoff for smaller app size is performance. Still, this is a powerful photo editor elegantly designed. Please keep up the good work!

It doesn’t even import your photo based on the order the photo was taken, or by the file name. Pretty crappy software.

This is a simple straight forward photo editor that is a breeze to use. I like the added optgions that it instantly brought to my photography business. Well done.

Excellent photo editor! I especially love the batch export and watermarking feature. However, I wish I could choose the naming squence for the files it exports.

After using it for a while I still cannot believe how such a lightweight app has so many poweful features that can edit or enhance my photos in virtually all aspects, like filters, color channels, and many others. For me this app has replaced the built-in preview app which has a few but limited features on editing. This one is totally worth it.
